Marvel at the ability of animals to survive in extreme extremes

Water bear is the common name for the animal phylum Tardigrada. This creature is thought to be "immortal" when it can survive beyond Earth and in a radioactive environment. They can survive without water for up to 10 years and live in temperatures ranging from -272 degrees Celsius to 150 degrees Celsius.

Cockroaches are known for their longevity because they can endure extreme temperatures and can even survive up to 45 minutes without air. In addition, cockroaches can eat weird things like concrete.

The immortal jellyfish is a species of sea jellyfish in the family Oceaniidae distributed in the Mediterranean Sea. They are called immortal jellyfish because of their ability to reverse their life cycle. This jellyfish can reverse its life cycle from adulthood back to a single-celled organism and continue to develop. Basically, when they are injured or starved, these jellyfish can revert to a younger state on their own.

The one-humped camel can go up to 16 km without drinking water and can withstand temperatures up to 48 degrees Celsius.

West African lungfish have special lifebuoys that resemble lungs, allowing them to survive even when buried. In addition, they can stay dormant for about 6 years through a process called "summer sleep" (similar to hibernation).

Elephant populations living in Namibia and Mali have had to adapt to extreme conditions. They can travel more than 54km under 50 degrees Celsius in search of water and usually do not drink for about 3 days.

Emperor penguin. This animal can dive deeper than any bird in the world. They can walk from 48-144 km to remote and extremely cold places. Emperor penguins can withstand cold weather of -24 degrees Celsius.

Unlike other bears, polar bears do not hibernate in winter. Polar bears are very well adapted to cold weather and can survive in extreme conditions thanks to their double coat and other amazing body features.

Canine fish. This creature has bigger teeth than any other fish in the ocean, for its size. They can be found at a depth of 4876m, where the pressure is about 500 times higher than sea level.
